A biodegradable casket, with a bedspread over it, will surely give you a satisfactory feel that your dear one is sleeping in peace. Added to this would be a comforting picture of the grave under a flower bed of different flowers and shrubs that enclose the deceased. Even though a metal casket with a heavy vault will look nice at the ceremony, it will not be able to complete the loop of life as efficiently as a green burial will.
Finally, the nature has to play its role. The corpse has to return back to the soil to give back the nutrients it is composed of. The environment needs to be preserved for the future generations to arrive. Non-renewable resources used in a traditional burial will not only finish the natural produce, but also they will indicate to be very unhealthy for the people years later.
